(Enhance the struggle for achieving class attitude, dependence on the classes and integrating with the poor-landless peasants)
Dear comrade,
Received all your letters….Though we agreed about the programme within the party, there are lot of areas where much difference still persists and will persist on the correct course of action. Chairman has taught us, correct line, be it political or military, can only be established through struggle. Policy concerning jail will be solved only through struggle. It is the revisionists who want coexistence of the exploiters and the exploited. Revisionism does not support the rebellion of the repressed against the repressors. It does not recognize the right of rebellion of the oppressed. Thus they project white as black. The idea about what is right and what is wrong crystallizes only through struggle and that too, after set back in the struggle. So Chairman in his speech in the Eleventh Plenum told that set back is necessary. The main thing about the struggle against revisionism is, dare to fight, dare to win. It is the revisionists who want to fight only with the precondition of a victory. So Chairman said, “Be firm, do not be afraid of any sacrifice, overcome all obstacles to achieve victory.”
This the clarion call of today. Direct the comrades in jail in this fashion…
Comrade, now I want to say something on another issue. After three of your comrades were martyred, you wrote that you could not allow anybody else to…without you yourself participate. No doubt, your sentiment is great. But unknowingly such thought leads to a political mistake. That is, we take ourselves to be above class. That is, the revolution does not belong to the party or to me personally. The revolution belongs to the poor and landless peasants. They are the leaders of this struggle, so they are the people who make most of the sacrifices for the sake of this revolution. They are not laying down their lives merely because we are asking them to do so. They are laying down their lives for their own sake only, for the sake of the revolution. No sacrifice goes waste. They must have been good cadres. That is why they were the first to lay down their lives. Is it harmful for the revolution? Definitely not. Just think, the comrade who sacrificed his life in Vietnum right at this moment, was he not a much greater revolutionary than us? So many great lives are lost in the Warfield of the world. That is why the destruction of world imperialism has become imminent, that is why we can be confident that the victory of world socialism is inevitable. So Chairman said, “We require enthusiastic but resolute mindedness, exciting but disciplined work.” I am advising you, but I am myself overwhelmed–that you too will be, is not surprising. But we should strive to be good students of Chairman.
Comrade, I touched upon so many things because class attitude, dependence on the classes, struggle for integrating with the poor and landless peasants are very rare in India today. We have had to pay rich dividend for this. I hope you will overcome all these.
